Some customers are wondering and definitely concerned about whether a certain type of man lift requires a license to operate. However, not all types of man lifts require a license.
Today, U-MAC Vietnam would like to share with our customers some types of man lifts that require a license and some that do not.
Types of man lifts that require a specialized license: Some types of man lifts require the operator to have a certificate for operating man lifts and a certificate for safely operating man lifts issued by the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Below is a summary of some popular types of man lifts in Vietnam and the requirements for their operators:
- Scissor lift and Vertical mast lift
Scissor lifts are a type of man lift with a compact design and easy operation. Most types of scissor lifts can be easily used with a few basic operations.
Articulating – Z Boom, Stick Boom and Telescopic Boom Lift
These types of cranes require an operator’s certification.
In addition, there are some less common types of cranes such as: Trailer Mounted Platform and Aerial Work Platform.
By owning a crane, you can work independently at height to perform operations in difficult or maintenance-required areas. Man lifts are an optimal choice over ladders for repairing factories, fixing roofs, cutting trees, installing doors, installing fire fighting equipment, etc. These are places that require quick, flexible work at different heights. With its versatility in construction, a crane is a must-have for construction contractors, firefighting and maintenance companies, etc.
