How spot cooler works 

The spot cooler works based on the principle as follows:

• Air from the room is pulled in through the back or the side of the unit
• The compressor is responsible for removing the heat from the air. It pressurizes refrigerant and what was a gas becomes a hot liquid.
• The hot liquid refrigerant then flows into the condenser, which allows heat to escape from the refrigerant via vents in the condenser casing. When the refrigerant reaches the end of the coils, it is cooler and in liquid form, but still under pressure.
• The metering device restricts the flow of liquid refrigerant from the condenser to the evaporator. As refrigerant passes through the metering device its pressure decreases, causing it to evaporate into a gas.
• The air in the room cools after flowing over cold refrigerant lines in the evaporator. This also removes water from the air, which decreases humidity.
• The venting system on the spot cooler is used to remove heat, while the AC tubes direct air into the room that needs to be cooled
